Zi Wei Dou Shu Terminology
When Zi Wei Dou Shu was founded a thousand year ago, the terminologies used in the expression were created using Chinese writing. With the availability of Pinyin today, it has saved non-Chinese speakers from a lot of pronunciation struggle.
However, the Pinyin system may be a challenge to you if you are untrained to use it. There are still other limitations in the Chinese pinyin such as the reading of roman letters are sometimes idiosyncratic from the way they are pronounced in the Western world (eg. 'b', 'p', 'g', 'k'), or even the unconventional mixing of initials and finals with the consonant and non-vowel etc. These, to some degree are still massive hurdles for someone untrained.
